There is a motif in the Bible of women struggling with infertility waiting for God to intervene and miraculously give them a child. These stories are a challenge for us to wait on God in hard times. Hannah’s story challenges us to be patient with God and others, and shows us how the waiting can refine us and prepares us to bless God when He delivers.
